This DIY Ganesh series is a GHP Ganesh Chaturthi 2018 special for our dear kiddos!

We are all eager to welcome Lord Ganesha this week. Kids love to celebrate their favourite and friendly Ganesha’s festival with great enthusiasm. So here are some DIY Ganesh Kids’ Crafts to make their favourite elephant-headed, friendly Ganeshas.

Here’s a real unique way to create your own Ganesh with some simple material found in any child’s home – grains and clay dough.

DIY Ganesh 1 – Grains Ganesh

  • A4 size white sheet
  • Glue
  • Assorted colour grains and pulses
  • Black marker

How to make it

  • Draw a nice Ganesha figure on A4 size sheet.
  • Cover each portion with glue.
  • Now stick different colours of grains and pulses in different parts of the Ganesha.
  • Draw the outline with a black marker.

DIY Ganesh 2 – Clay Dough Ganesh

  • Assorted coloured clay dough

How to make it

  • Mould clay dough into different body parts of Ganesha. Use same colour clay dough for ears, hands and legs. Refer to the image.
  • You can decorate it adding some stones or beads.
