A pair of Turacos

Touted to be India’s first interactive bird park, here one can get up-close and personal with birds. Yes, they do come and sit on your shoulder and your head. No, they won’t poop all over your clothes!

Esselworld Bird Park boasts of exotics like Toucans, Green Turacos, Rainbow Lorikeets, Blue Gold Macaws and many more.

Things to do at Esselworld Bird Park

A Perfect Home

Inspired by Singapore’s famous Jurong Bird Park, the Esselworld Bird Park has curated habitats for each bird’s needs. From an Ostrich pit to a canal for ducks and spacious enclosures for the others, here’s a perfect ecosystem created.

Children can also indulge in coloring and drawing competitions on special days. At the vintage merchandise store visitors can pick up bird curios as souvenirs.

Abhirup Das the Head of New Business Verticals of Esselworld Leisure Pvt. Ltd. says, “We wanted to ensure that the birds lived in their natural habitat and hence set-up the bird park in a non-polluted zone. The 50ft-tall mesh enclosure lets birds fly freely without them escaping. A dedicated kitchen prepares meals for each species. Our handlers are trained by experienced bird behaviorists from Spain. We also have a panel of avian and exotic specialists as vets.”
