The Way I See It

The Way I See It is a one-woman show about life in general; including all issues, both small and big; things that happen to a forty-something married woman charting her perilous course between independence and responsibility; between marriage and self-realization ; between kids and work; a comic, funny and satirical look at how she looks at the world, and how the world looks at her.

Zingaat Comedy

Venue: Studio Mojo, Malad west
Timing: 8 pm

Comedy Ladder presents a one of a kind Marathi comedy show only for you. Two hours of pure, Marathi comedy. Life might be an exasperating farrago of distortions for you, but once in a while it feels better to let it go by saying “khaalifukatcha yede pana nako”.

Believe it or not, everybody has embraced the Mumbaikar in them by incorporating the Marathi slangs in their vocabulary. Come for this show, it will be a Zingaat experience!

The Bookcaine Meet is back!

Good things come in small packages, and when it comes to literary work, even two lines can carry the intensity of an entire novel. No wonder that short stories are immensely popular with readers of all kinds, and also our theme for this session.

“Short stories are tiny windows into other worlds and other minds and other dreams. They are journeys you can make to the far side of the universe and still be back in time for dinner”, says Neil Gaiman.

Chinese Inkwash Watercolor Painting Workshop

Bansant Panchami is the festival marking the advent of spring and also the time, when Goddess of knowledge and creativity, Goddess Saraswati is worshipped. Richa Lulla is a software engineer turned pastry chef. Being Sindhi, she has come up with a spread which she grew up eating at home and loves the most.

The Bohri Feast

Home-chef Mehroze and her family welcome you for an authentic Bohri meal relished the traditional way.

A Bohri meal begins with the youngest person around the thaal providing the salt to everyone and then having a pinch of it. This acts as a palate cleanser before and after the meal. Then comes the dessert (yes, dessert is the first course), followed by a savoury appetiser and another round of sweet and savoury before the main course makes its entry. A Bohri thaal is extremely fulfilling – for your appetite and in happiness quotient.
