The Little House Versova brings on board home chef Rosalin Dalvi to cook up the Merry Goan Lunch this Sunday, 24 December. A Goan herself, Rosalin has been preparing authentic meals herself for large groups for many years now. This Yari Road resident brings on board her inheritance of recipes from her grandmother, an avid cook herself.
The Merry Goan Lunch Menu
The simple yet authentic Merry Goan Lunch at The Little House this Sunday will feature the piquant Pork Sorpotel, Chicken Xacuti, Goan Pulao, spongy Sanna and Potato Chops with Minced Chicken. To please the vegetarians, Rosalin will also be preparing Mixed Vegetable Xacuti, Corn Cutlets and a French Bean and Coconut dish.
As for alcohol, there will be wine and beer available for sale, exclusive of the lunch menu. Drinks will be charged separately.

Coming for a church-loving community for which she has cooked aplenty, Rosalin loves to feed people. ‘If you ask me for my secret ingredient or secret recipe, it’s just that. I love to cook and feed people’, she says in her warm voice. What more does this beautiful season of Joy need?
Rosalin’s curries and all other preparations include Goan masala powders that are sun-dreid, roasted and hand-pounded at home. That lends each dish its unique flavour and that lasting taste.

How about some true-blue Goan music? The Merry Goan Lunch at The Little House will warm your hearts further with a Goan musician strumming his guitar. As he croons those lilting melodies, be prepared to be transported to the by-lanes of Goa.
